Having just turned 18, Sophie Koslowsky has been teaching Yoga to women of all ages for over a year. It was when a friend of hers referred her to The Class, that Sophie found her calling- teaching.
“I would go to Taryn’s Class three times a week and it would be the part of my week I looked forward to most.”
Quickly becoming a form of therapy, Sophie decided it was time for her to audition to get into The Teacher Training Program.. and that’s when it all began.
As an instructor, her goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space for people to process and get into their bodies. We found it really inspiring to come across someone so passionate about helping others understand and connect with their bodies especially since this came to her at such a young age. When asked about other ventures, she can’t imagine herself doing anything else. She eats, sleeps, and breathes movement and wellness.
Sophie finds reward in sharing her process and then being able to witness the growth. We asked what advice she would give to other women her age, she said:
“No one is perfect and there is so much more than the physical body. You are exactly where you need to be. Give yourself the freedom to move your body.”
You can find Sophie’s full bio on The Class website where you can also find when she is scheduled to teach. You will experience joy in its purest and raw form when she leads her Class as she does it preferably to the sounds of Delilah by Florence and The Machine.
