Meet Sommelier and Business Owner, Jordan Salcito.

Jordan is the founder of RAMONA, a one-of-a-kind Sicilian wine mixed with grapefruit in a can.  We are excited to announce that she is also partnering with us during our October Love Squad Speaker Series:

Women in Business: Building, Branding, and Bossing up

Curious about wine since learning her grandfather made it in his basement and head over heels for it since her first harvest in Burgundy in 2006, Jordan has invested over a decade working her way through several facets of the wine and restaurant industries. She began her career in New York as hostess at wd~50 before becoming a prep cook at DANIEL, sommelier and manager at Eleven Madison Park, then eventually Wine & Beverage Director for David Chang’s Momofuku restaurants. Jordan’s wine programs at Momofuku have been named James Beard Foundation semi-finalists in 2014, 2015 and 2016.


She is a Master Sommelier Candidate, a Wine & Spirits “Best New Sommelier” and a Wine Enthusiast 40 Under 40.

Since 2006, she has worked harvests each year at wineries across the globe, from Burgundy and Tuscany to Patagonia and California. In 2011, she founded Bellus Wines, a collection of terroir-driven selections made from organically grown grapes that donates a percentage of proceeds to non-profit organizations.

In 2016, Salcito launched RAMONA, the world’s first organic wine cooler, packaged in a 250ml aluminum slim can. She lives in New York with her husband, son, and two plants.
